We recently partnered with Jane Clayton to add this beautiful wallpaper to our 1st floor powder room. I’m obsessed with the pattern and color. It tricks the eye in a way that you never tire of looking at it. Here are five reasons I recommend choosing wallpaper instead of paint.

1. Durability: From a functional aspect most high quality wallpapers can cleaned by wiping with a combo of gentle soap and water. Ideal for high trafficked areas or small spaces like powder rooms. Paint often shows dirt more and needs to be touched up often.
2. Uniqueness: There are hundreds even thousands of different patterns and color combos to choose from. Create a completely unique environment with your custom selected wallpaper.
3. Pattern: Unlike paint alone, wallpaper allows you to seamlessly incorporate movement into your space though different uses of pattern. Ranging from a whimsical floral design, or a contemporary geometric motif, there is guaranteed to be a wallpaper pattern that caters to your unique taste.
4. Texture: Textured grasscloth beaded glass or metallic wallpaper will add dimension and interest to walls (or even a ceiling) that paint alone can not accomplish. Texture adds rich movement to your design that paint alone can not accomplish.
5. Installation: While we used a professional wall paperer to install our powder room paper, wallpaper technology has changed over the years. Peel and stick and pre pasted options have made the once considered daunting task of wallpapering attainable to the novice DIYer.
