Three cheers for the weekend! Whether you plan on hosting a few friends for some St. Patrick’s Day festivities or are just catching up on Netflix this amazing Gin Fizz recipe is a perfect way to ring in the weekend.
Gin Fizz:
serves 1
1 1/2 shots fresh grapefruit juice
1 shot gin
1 egg white
lime juice – to garnish
rock candy – to stir
Combine the grapefruit juice, gin, and egg white in a cocktail shaker. Shake for one minute. Add ice and shake for another 10 seconds. Pour the cocktail from the top of the shaker through the strainer into a cocktail glass, then garnish with fresh lime juice. Open the shaker and top the cocktail with the egg white froth. Add the rock candy stick or lemon to garnish
