Warm season’s greetings from our family to yours! Welcome to our home. We’re so glad you are here. If you came from Summer Adam’s blog thank you for stopping by! I’m honored to be apart of this holiday blog tour. Sit back, relax, and pour yourself an extra big glass of wine, and enjoy our holiday home tour.
Christmas is such a magical time of year. The excitement and spirit of the holiday season is contagious by all. My fondest childhood memories are centered around celebrating Christmas with my family. As a little girl I found such joy helping my Mom decorate our home for the holidays. Now it’s so special to share that same tradition together with my family in our home.

This year we are looking forward to hosting family on Christmas Day as well as celebrating the twins 5th birthday on the 28th. As much as we enjoy beautiful surroundings it’s important to us that our friends and family feel welcomed & comfortable. No room is off limits, especially with little ones. When guests arrive we have a cocktail ready to serve. Our entryway is inviting with fresh flowers and a scented candle, like Frasier Fir burning. We always “keep a light on” with our entryway light on a timer. It’s soft glow provides the perfect amount of light at night after we put the kids down, while enjoying the glow of our 9 foot King Flocked Christmas tree and lights from the Magnolia Garland.

Our King flocked 9-foot unlit Christmas tree is the focal point of our family room. Inspired by our recent Florida vacation we incorporated new ornaments reminscenant of our beach adventures along with our traditional family ornaments. That L cove on the couch is my favorite spot to curl up with the kids and watch a movie with the big white faux fur throw. I’m kind obsessed with the new white peacock clip ornament I picked up this weekend.

Our stockings are all hung by the chimney with care. I made the eucalyptus ornaments. Just add dried eucalpytus to clear glass ornaments. This year we went with cable knit and gold stockings, accented with Sugar Paper for Target Ribbon.

Finally this is our Christmas tree in our living room leading back to our entryway. It’s an 8-foot King Flock tree with a tree collar. Every year we add a new ornament including a picture of the twins. It’s fun to see how much they’ve grown over the years, and how far we’ve come!
Make sure you head over to my talented friend’s CC & Mike’s to see their beautiful modern ecletic Christmas!
From our family to yours I hope you have a wonderful Christmas.

Doreen
