How to Use LIKEtoKNOW.it

October 27, 2017

Happy Friday friends! Alot of you have showed interest in how to use LIKEtoKNOW.it.  It’s super easy to use and will help simplify your life, especially when it comes to shopping. For those of you eager to learn I’ve included a quick tutorial.

What? LIKEtoKNOW.it is your hub for inspiration whether it be style tips, fitness, home, items under $50, or family. You can shop these categories or search by hashtag if you have a specific item in mind, like new ankle boots. In a way, it’s like Pinterest, but you can shop the looks you see right within the app instead of having to hunt through potentially broken links to find the source. You can also follow your favorite style crushes and bloggers and get their looks in your feed or sent right to your inbox.

How does it work? This technology is all about convenience, so while you can get inspiration from Instagram posts, it’s previously been a hassle to hunt for each item yourself. LIKEtoKNOW.it provides an easy link for you, and you’ll receive as much or as little content from them as you choose. Within the app, you have a few different options for receiving information on looks you like:

  1. Personally, I choose to screenshot posts enabled with LIKEtoKNOW.it (I’ll show you how to figure out that information below). Then I can select the screenshot within the app and shop the post.
  2. You can also choose to receive an email with the items in each LIKEtoKNOW.it enabled post you like on Instagram. This option is more automatic, but not my preference.

The graphic below demonstrates the screenshot method:

I appreciate the app because it’s more of a curated source for inspiration from people whose style I trust. Basically it’s like asking a bunch of your closest friends for their style tips, but without their overly blunt comments, and from the comfort of your own home. Doreen

“What you do. How you dress. The way you love someone, and how you talk. Your smile and your personality. What you believe in, and all your dreams. The way you drink your tea. How you decorate your home. Or party. Your grocery list. The food you make. How your writing looks. And the way you feel. Life is art.”
