If you’ve been watching my instastories you’ve seen that things are moving and shaking on our master bedroom and sitting makeover. Huge thank you to Ann K. Interiors for her help with the space. Jim and I really wanted our bedroom to be relaxing. A neutral, but warm retreat after a long day where we normally fall into bed. Gray is definately my favorite color but we wanted to do something new and incorporate more blues and white into the space.
We chose the Homer Blue Knotted rug from Annie Selke because of the subtle pattern and soft blue accents. The rug not only grounds the space, but is super durable. It will add just the right amount of color around our new upholstered bed (which will be arriving soon). The rug is part of Annie Selke’s Fall 2017 Collection. You can sign up to receive their catalog here, chalked full of inspiring styling and decor. Bonus, if you sign up for their e-mails you’ll get 15% off your purchase.
Mirror | Lucite Cabinet Handles | Tile | MDF Moulding Board
We updated our fireplace. We covered the black tile with 2 in. x 8 ft. MDF Moulding Board. The tile is Greecian White 3 in. x 6 in. Polished Marble Floor and Wall Tile (1 sq. ft. / case) $5 a box. I sprayed the fireplace box with high heat white rustoleum paint. We took the tinted window glass to a local glass shop and had them make clear glass. New pulls from LuxHoldUps and it looks so much better
