Our temps have cooled down and you can feel fall is in air. With the school year on the horizon for my kids (or already started for some), I’m finding myself looking forward to being back on somewhat of a schedule. It’s starting to get darker earlier which brings us all inside earlier. As this school year begins I hope to recharge and restart a few healthy habits including reading and journaling. The other evening I stumbled across Bridget Beth Collins’ STUNNING Instagram feed @Flora.Florager. I was completely mesmerized by her uncanny ability to create and build the most unique objects/scenes through floral art. Bridget is insanely creative. She just so happened to recently release a seasonal journal that I instantly snagged off of Amazon. I’m looking forward to putting pen to paper while enjoying her beautifully transcribed nature pieces through the seasons. I’ve heard that Present over Perfect is a great read (sitting on my nightstand now) and I can attest that after reading The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up last year (a friend insisted I read it), the book was indeed life changing and I was able to get rid of TONS “stuff.” But to warn you I’m a serial liquidator anyway 🙂 My Must Have Monday this week thus includes a journal, a memoir, a motivational and philosophical how-to book, and some of my favorite coffee table books (because not all books are for reading!).
Happy shopping!
XO,
Doreen

How you decorate your home. Or party. Your grocery list. The food you make. How your writing looks. And the way you feel. Life is art.”
