#SpringIntoHome Tour: Kelsey Grose

April 20, 2017

I could not be more excited to share my dear friend Kelsey’s home tour with you all! Kelsey and her husband moved into this home in Saskatchewan, Canada just after getting married three years ago. They completely renovated this fixer upper and turned it into something that is so beautiful and a perfect reflection of them! Kelsey describes their home as a “labour of love” due to all of this work that they did on their own, but I can definitely say that their labor was not in vain because the finished product is just gorgeous!

This awesome retro chair actually belonged to Kelsey’s Granny. Even though she has passed away, Kelsey remembers this chair sitting in her Granny’s home, and now it serves as a daily reminder of a woman she loved very much! Kelsey loves to spend quiet mornings relaxing here.

Kelsey and her husband love to find unique vintage pieces to add character and depth to each room. Not only does this make their home so unique and interesting, but it also is so fun for them to hunt for these treasures!

Besides her love for interior design, Kelsey is very passionate about photography and traveling. She loves to decorate her home with pieces that reflect these passions and are meaningful to her life. Her favorite way to decorate is framing photographs that she has taken from various trips or experiences. This adds such a fun personal touch and is a great way to look back on wonderful memories. Also, she loves plants, if you couldn’t already tell!

The kitchen was a huge project for the two of them to complete, but just look at how stunning it is! I’m obsessed with the open concept layout and having a large island perfect for entertaining. Also, how cute is this little scale?! It belonged to Kelsey’s other grandma, and is another fun reminder of someone that was so special to her.

This moss wall frame is actually real and is too fun!

The master bedroom has got to be my favorite room of the house. I haven’t ever seen anything quite like it and to say I’m obsessed would be an understatement. It is full of so many fun patterns and unique vintage finds like the spray-painted bed frame, gold mirror, and dresser to name a few!

Kelsey’s home is so full of character and airy light and I am ecstatic to be included in a home tour with her! She has put so much hard work and care into her home, and it really shows. I am amazed at the talent that she has and how she can transform almost any space into something that is so beautiful and personal. Be sure to follow her blog and Instagram to see more of her work!
