#SpringIntoHome Tour: Meredith Rodday

May 5, 2017

It’s our last week of the #SpringIntoHome tour, I can hardly believe it! To close out the show is Meredith, from View from My Heels. She’s a design consultant so you know her home is going to be stunning, spoiler alert (she’s even been featured on the SMP Living blog!) and a fellow twin mama.

I adore Meredith’s entryway. One word: shiplap. Her style feels similar to mine, something similar to coastal casual. I love the neutral palette and her use of woods and greenery.

The dining room is one of more recently finished reno-projects – worth the wait! Love the artwork and the use of greenery in this room as well.

If I went to meet with a design consultant and this was her office, I would know I was in good hands! Major swoon for those chairs.

Meredith’s living room continues to deliver on an amazing palette. I love the way she incorporates colors and patterns with a carefully chosen array of throws and pillows – and wow that leather couch is gorgeous.

Since moving in five years ago, Meredith and her husband have made a few changes to the kitchen – namely adding a marble backsplash and giving the island a divine carrara marble revamp. Love!

Their powder room is so serene and unique – I’m a huge fan of the rounded edge mirror and extra thick marble countertop.

Her boys have the cutest rooms – fun wallpaper, pops of color. Well styled but still totally kid friendly!

After working hard on a design board for the guest bedroom in the basement, look how it turned out! I’m in love with the navy pillows on the bed and the one-wall wallpaper.

One of the family’s favorite rooms is, unsurprisingly, this phenomenal playroom, which Meredith says was a total blank slate when they first moved in. I love the gray built-ins and the patterned roman shades.

Thanks so much for joining us on our #SpringIntoHome Tour! We’ve had such a blast, not to mention the tour has been major motivation for finishing up various home projects for all of us! Don’t let this be goodbye, make sure you stay up-to-date by following us on social media – these ladies produce lots of great content (and have totally eye-candy ‘grams!).

“What you do. How you dress. The way you love someone, and how you talk. Your smile and your personality. What you believe in, and all your dreams. The way you drink your tea. How you decorate your home. Or party. Your grocery list. The food you make. How your writing looks. And the way you feel. Life is art.”
