DIY Christmas Wreath

December 14, 2018

Still decorating for the holidays?!? Hosting a holiday party for friends and family and want to spruce up your decor? This time of year forgo fresh flowers for fresh greenery. You can make this super simple DIY Christmas Wreath in less than 10 minutes!

Crafting is so much more fun when you can do it with friends (and share supplies!). I teamed up with one of my favorites Lindsey, of Lindsey Taylor Photography, to make this wreath for her Christmas party.

What you’ll need

  1. Grapevine Wreath
  2. Greenery (all ours was purchased from Trader Joes)
  3. Faux Berries (Trader Joes sells Red but we wanted white)

Cut your greenery and work counter clock wise. Tuck each stem of greenery into the grapevine wreath until it’s secure. Layer your greenery as desired but we first did pine, then eucalyptus, and berries on top. Add a bow or ribbon. Etsy or Amazon are great sources for beautiful velvet ribbon.

Pro tip~ Soak your greenery in water (then let dry) before putting in the wreath to keep it fresh longer. Pine, fir, and cedar branches last the longest. Mist your wreath with water daily to make it last longer.

Merry Christmas!
XO,
Dor
