Playroom

January 1, 2022

Our playroom update has been a long (very long) time coming. When we started our basement remodel we began rethinking the functionality of this room. We decided to keep it to crafting / homework space. With baby on board we have to be consciousness about what we keep out. The basement houses all our legos and little toys, while the playroom is arts and craft central. The playroom update is complete and I’m excited to share it with you! I especially love the MInted wall mural on the ceiling, our Hudson Valley lighting which is reminiscent of a musical instrument, and the reading corner.

I also love the play table and poufs. They beckon to come hang, relax and create…. no matter your age. I’ve shared the sources below for you all but am excited to hear what you think.

“What you do. How you dress. The way you love someone, and how you talk. Your smile and your personality. What you believe in, and all your dreams. The way you drink your tea. How you decorate your home. Or party. Your grocery list. The food you make. How your writing looks. And the way you feel. Life is art.”

Everything in life is art.
