Happy Sunday!! Today I’m sharing the second post for the Sunday 7 outdoor series and focusing on outdoor entertaining pieces. When warm weather FINALLY comes (which better be soon!!) my favorite thing to do is host my friends and family outside with summer snacks and delicious drinks. It’s like an extension of our home so the outdoor furniture has to be as comfortable and welcoming as our indoor living room.

I want people to have enough seating to be cozy but also casually enjoy the outdoor scenery. In the image above image I’ve rounded up some ideas for seven of my must have items for an outdoor entertaining space. Seating is very key and having a few different spaces with areas people can sit, relax and chat is a great way to keep everyone outside. To make it cozy I always opt for a rug as I think that brings a space together and is a great way to introduce a pop of color. Then you want to make sure there are convenient (but stylish) places for people to rest their beverages, plates or put up their feet so having a garden stool (I’m loving all the cool designs for these this year) and/or coffee table is also important to have.
I hope you are enjoying the outdoor series – next week stay tuned for another fun post!!
XO,
Doreen
